Full Moon Tea Ceremony

||Full Moon Tea ||

Lunar eclipse, Super moon.. I am so grateful to get to experience in this life. The energy of the Full Moon is one of completion and expansion. I tend to usually reevaluate my intentions.. especially after the new year. With the moon being a feminine energy, this is a method to use if you're looking to balance feminine hormones, guide to self-love, or to harness the Goddess radiance🌙 We all want to be a bit lustrous..I’m currently reading a new Ayurvedic book- a quote that spoke to me from it..

"Beauty is not a veneer upon things; it is not skin deep it is not added to something to make an ugly thing acceptable. It belongs to the nature of things made." Beauty is in everyone. Beauty is always there if you are taking care of your body. You just have to look within your spirit. The tea is designed to help you connect with your feminine energy, and open your heart to deeper insights letting the lunar energy flow. 

The recipe☕️

1 tablespoon of organic Tulsi and Rose Petals 

1 cinnamon bark 

1 cardamom pod 

1/2 ginger root

Pinch of tumeric & black pepper 

*everything chemical free p

If you don’t have some of the ingredients that’s okay. Not everyone will have cardamom or Tulsi tea. Use another form of green leaf tea, preferably not caffeinated. A good Organic India- sold in most stores has good teas! 

 

           Potion

||Gather Tea & Herbs ||

1. Put the loose herbs in jar 

2. Fill glass jar with warm water & loose herbs (not boiling, clear jar) 

3. Say a mantra.. let intentions flow, manifestations of expansion.

4. Place outside overnight to soak in the full lunar energy ( cover it with cheesecloth or loosely cover lid) 

5. In morning, strain the herbs

6. Bring the water to a boil, and place the jar still with tea in it, inside the boiling water. After, I will be adding honey and shatavari root ( enhance for feminine energies, balancing to all Doshas) 

When it is warm.. sit with your tea, and sip. May your radiant luscious body be strong, and may your aura repel any ill will and convert it into peace and love. Say a prayer to God...Find openness after each sip..imagine your new dreams flourishing them into actions..May your intentions continue to grow!
